What I eat every day could probably choke a horse

horse-goddessTime to do some math! I know, I know, math wasn’t my strong suit either. Suck it up. We’re going in. Add as you go.

Every day I drink 10 juices, 7 green and 3 straight carrot. This is my new program, based on my metabolic profile (go here to read why I changed from the Gerson Therapy I was doing). The idea is to eat the foods my body actually needs, in the combination of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates that works for me. We humans are not one size fits all. A diet that works for one person won’t necessarily work for another. If I give my body what it really needs, the thinking is that it will get stronger and can better deal with the cancer.

Below is what I eat EVERY SINGLE LIVELONG DAY. Food is my main medicine. Every day I do a complete Juice A or Juice B (7 juices) PLUS carrot juices (3 juices).

Juice A — one day’s juices
  • 1 large bunch bok choy
  • i medium bunch kale
  • 2 medium cucumbers
  • 1/2 large endive
  • 1/4 small head red cabbage
  • 1 medium red pepper
  • 2 medium zucchini
Carrot juice — one day’s juices
  • about 3 lbs carrots

Juice A makes about 8 green juices, enough for a whole day with one left over for the next day. The cucumber helps the taste considerably, though after drinking this concoction for three days I now am sickened by the smell of cucumber for possible ever. In addition to 7 of these green juices (such a pretty emerald green!), I drink 3 carrot juices. After 9 months of carrot juices and about 1500 pounds of carrots (conservative estimate) I loathe carrots with the fire of a thousand suns.

Juice B — one day’s juices
  • 1 large bunch collards
  • 1/2 medium bunch parsley
  • 1 small head radicchio
  • 1/2 pkg. watercress
  • 1/2 med. bunch celery
  • carrots as needed, about 3.5 lbs

Juice B makes 7 green juices that taste like flop sweat and sadness. Did you know that you taste less if you block your nose? (You can thank me later for this useful tip.)

Carrot juice — one day’s juices
  • about 3 lbs carrots
Power drink FTW
  • a spoonful of coconut cream from Tropical Traditions
  • 1 banana
  • 1 organic, pastured chicken egg
  • big spoonful Vitamineral Green powder from HealthForce Nutritionals
  • Earth Sacred Healing Food powder from HealthForce Nutritionals
  • Zeoforce Zeolite clay from HealthForce Nutritionals

This doesn’t taste that bad. I’m just so full by this point from all the other food that it’s the last thing I want.

But wait! There’s more

So, I also get to eat Real Food. This is a sampling of a typical day:

  • 3 ounces chicken or beef
  • 2 potatoes
  • cooked vegetables, usually two different kinds
  • plain yogurt
  • fruit — strawberries, cherries, grapes (all of them in one day)
  • 2 tablespoons flax oil
  • 1/4 avocado
  • cooked oatmeal made from 1/2 cup dry organic oats

All food is made without salt.

Yay. Thinking about all this eating makes me tired. (Sorry, horse.)
